What are the symptoms of the flu?

Common flu symptoms include fever, chills, body aches, fatigue, headache, sore throat, cough, congestion, and sometimes nausea or vomiting. Flu symptoms usually come on suddenly and are more severe than a typical cold.

You can get fast flu testing at Urgent Care Plus locations across Delaware, including Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, Dover, and surrounding areas. Walk-ins are welcome.

Do I need an appointment for flu testing?

No appointment is needed for flu testing at Urgent Care Plus. Patients can walk in and be seen the same day.

Is urgent care or the ER better for flu symptoms?

Urgent care is usually the better choice for flu symptoms because wait times and costs are lower than the emergency room. The ER should be used for severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing or chest pain.

We see people of all ages, from toddlers to kids to seniors. With seven exam rooms, including a dedicated procedure room, we can handle a large variety of illnesses and injuries as well as routine physicals and DOT physicals. Additionally, we offer X-ray and limited laboratory services. Our Delaware Urgent Care Plus medical aid unit/urgent care unit near you is here to help. We have our own X-ray facility with ARRT-certified techs.
